Life is like that. A challenge that tests our strength of body and mind; a mystery that baffles our understanding; a riddle that gets more complicated the more we try to figure it out; a tough exam where you are called upon to answer the most unexpected questions and solve the most complex problems.
You have to first carry the cross if you want the crown. ”Good times and Bad times and all times, pass over.” A cheerful frame of mind makes a tea kettle sing even when it has hot water upto its nose. Creativity, innovations, analytical abilities are all manifestations of the versatility of the powerful mind. A vivid example is that of the great lady Hellen Keller, who despite all physical disabilities, could accomplish great tasks only through her strong determination and will power. Former President of India-Avil Pakir Jalaluddin Abdul Kalam or ”the Missile-Man of India” who from a boat owner’s son became a Bharat Ratna. It all started back in 1958 in DRDO and then in 1980 as Director of DRDO. When the then Defence Minister, Mr. R. Venkataraman ordered him to develop all the five missiles simultaneously. He accepted the challenge and gifted India with ”Prithvi, Nag, Akash, Trishul and Agni” missiles in just ten years by working for 18 hours a day.
To quote Joaquin Millers: ”Brave Admiral, say but one good word : What shall we do when hope is gone? The words leapt like a leaping sword : Sail on! sail on!sail on! sail on!” Columbus had vindicated the validity of the above saying in 1492 when he had strongly resolved to keep on sailing and not rest in peace until and unless he was able to discover new lands which were lying undiscovered till then. Strong will power can move mountains. It can work miracles. So, work with full dedication, devotion, confidence, patience, strong determination and above all faith in God to reach the pinnacle of all glory & success.
